History of Crocs

Founded by George Boedecker Jr in 2002, Crocs today employs well over 3,600 people.  They are well known for their foam based show that has become a huge hit among many.  You can generally find their shoes located within the stores of many outlet, and shopping malls.

Their headquarters are currently in Longmont, Colorado and their annual revenues hover around $20+ million annually.

Job Description / Average Wage

Sales Associate: You will help customers with finding the right size, as well as color for the Croc that they are looking for.  You will help run the cash register, as well as make sure that the store remains clean.  You may be asked to run special orders from time to time as well as process returns when they bring them back to the store.  The average wage is $8 to $10 a hour.

Shift Lead: You will be in charge of running an entire shift.  You will assign tasks, as well as perform the same duties as a sales associate.  You will find that you will have to assist some customers with specialized transactions.   Also known as a team lead, you may have to assist the manager with opening and closing down the store.  There may be occasions where you’ll have to assist with managerial paperwork as well.   A shift lead can get around $9 to $11 a hour.

Kiosk Manager:  Many Crocs locations are located within the mall.  Because of this, only one employee will be required to run the store.  As a kiosk manager, you’re going to help open the kiosk as well as shut it down.  You’re going to ring up customers, assist them as well as process returns.  You’re going to answer to the manager on duty at the time.  The average wage for a kiosk manager is anywhere from $9 to $12 per hour.

Manager: You will runt eh store, as well as open and close down shop when deemed necessary.  You will be in charge of hiring, as well as performing all the duties the associates perform.  Most stores only run 1-3 employees at a time.  Your average wage will be around $30,000 a year.
