Founded back in 1997, Cable One today is headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona.   Cable One is a cable service provider that is a subsidiary of the Washington Post company.   In the United States today, they are the 10th largest cable provider with over 700,000 subscribers.   They also offer broadband Internet services as well.   They currently serve stats such as Louisiana, South Dakota, Missouri and more.

Job Description / Average Wage

IT Support: You’re going to work in the company’s call center.   You’re going to assist customers over the phone with any issues that they have with their service.   This can relate to all of the services such as phone, TV and Internet.   You will assist them until the problem is complete.   If you can’t fix the problem, a tech will have to be sent to address the issue.   The average pay is $8 to $13 a hour.

Customer Service: You will also work in a call center, or in an actual location, where you will meet customers face to face.     You will assist with billing, account issues, setting up new accounts and more.   You will also help with equipment problems, and sending people over the phone to the IT department.   The average pay is $9 to $14 a hour.

Tech / Installer: You will learn how to install services inside of customer’s homes.   You will help with setting up the Internet, Cable TV, as well as digital phone services and more.   You will find that the average installer is going to get paid around $9 to $15 a hour.

Solutions Specialist:   Working in a call center, your main job will to ensure that the customer stays around if they want to leave.   On top of customer retention, you’re going to also assist customers with any problems that they have.   It’s going to be your duty to ensure that each and every customer is happy when they hang up the phone.   The average wage is $9 to $14 a hour.
