History of Benetton

Founded in 1965, The Benetton clothing group is a popular Italian clothing retailer.  Today they have over 6,000 stores that are spread in more than 160 countries worldwide.   They have over 9,000 employees, and on an annual basis, they do more than 2 million euros in sales.

Known for their colorful clothes, and clothing, each and every year they continue to expand.

Job Description / Average Wage

Sales Associate: You’re going to help customers with their orders, ring them up, as well as make sure the store is clean and presentable.  You will also assist customers with their sizes, colors and more.  If they have any questions, you will help to answer them at the best of your ability.  The average wage is from $7 to $10 a hour.

Key Holder: This is more of an assistant management position.  You’re going to help the manager open up the store, as well as close it.  You will assign tasks to your employees, as well as help override any transaction a customer has.  You will also assist the associates with jobs they need help with.  The average wage is $9 to $13 a hour.

Visual Associate:  As a visual associate, you’re going to be responsible for helping make sure that the store looks great visually.  You’re going to assist with mannequins, organizing the racks as well as making sure that everything is in order.  You also may be asked to work with the manager to design new concepts as well as help follow floor plans that have came from corporate.  The average pay for this position can range anywhere from $8 to $13 per hour.

Manager: You will run the store yourself.  You will help train associates, as well as hire them, and create schedules.  If any problems do persist, you will alert the district manager.  You will also find that you will hep any associate with a job that they may have.  The average pay depending experience is $10+ a hour.
