History of Apple Corporation

Apple Inc. is an American multinational corporation. It is noted for its design and marketing consumer electronics, computers, software, and personal computers. Apple is best known for its creation of Macintosh computers, the iPod, the iPhone and the iPad. They are noted for the software which includes Mac OS X operating systems; the iTunes media browser; the iLife suite of multimedia and creativity software; the iWork suite of productivity software; Aperture, a professional photography package; Final Cut Studio, a suite of professional audio and film-industry software products; and Logic Studio, a suite of audio tools.  Apple started April 1, 1976 in Cupertino, California and incorporated January 3, 1977. At first the company was known as Apple Computer, Inc. for about 30 years removed the Computer for the name on January 9, 2007 and now they are known as just Apple Inc.

Mac Specialist (Apple Store) this type of job position is for someone who works in one of the many Apple Stores across the nation. They are responsible to meet and greet customers with a friendly smile and help the customer to decide what type of equipment that is needed or software package. Most Mac Specialists work inside an Apple Store and must apply with the owner for a job position. The average wage for this position is $9.00 an hour starting pay.

Software Engineer: The software engineer usually works directly for Apple Inc. and is responsible for the manufacture and creation of software packages. Many companies order programs to suit the need of the company and it takes an engineer in order to be able to create a specific software package. Also some engineers work with Apple Inc. to create specific programs that will be put on the market. The average wage for a software engineer depends on experience, education and time with the company but the starting wage is around $99,240.00 a year.

Mac Genius: The Mac Genius must know everything about the Macintosh computers and be able to assist customers when they call on the phone to set up the system, fix any errors that might occur and also instruct customers on how to use new programs for the system. Sometimes the Mac Genius must go into the business and work on the system. The average wage for a Mac Genius is $23.00 an hour.
